Cadet Impact Goals

Goal Description(s):

1. To maintain an overall accumulated GPA of 2.75 for the entire unit.

- We will survey each cadet's individual school performance through the use of monthly progress reports.

- For those who are failing a class and/or are on the brink of failing a class, we will encourage to attend tutoring sessions that are hosted by teachers on campus.

2. To encourage all cadets to actively participate in all designated uniform days.

-Three Strikes Policy: 

1st Offense: Warning

2nd Offense: Final Warning 

3rd Offense: Uniform is taken away + 20% grade deduction

- In the event that a cadet loses their uniform, they can attain it back by engaging in the unit more and through their leadership's discretion. If they choose to not earn their uniform back, their only option is to drop the class or fail it.

3. To have 90% of all underclassmen and first-year cadets be properly trained in color guard sequence.

- We dedicate one day a week for drill practice purposes; Wednesdays will be the designated day where our class TA's will advise the training in class.

- Our unit drill trainer will provide training sessions after school Mondays through Thursdays.

School Impact Goals

Goal Description(s):

1. To encourage cadets to support different extracurricular activities such as football games, track meets, etc.

- We will have cadets participate in security detail, chain gang, hurdle crew and by exhibiting patriotism by exhibiting patriotism by displaying American flags throughout the campus during patriotic holidays or honorable/ceremonial events.

2. To motivate all cadets to participate in upcoming AFJROTC events.

- The more a cadet participates in the unit, the more incentives they are given. For example, a cadet who shows exemplary community service participation has the likelihood of attending a C.I.A. provided by the unit.

- A cadet who performs well and participates actively in the unit will be given mutual respect and recognition.

Community Impact Goals

Goal Description(s):

1. To achieve 5,200 hours of community service for the entire unit within the 2017-2018 school year.

2. To assist local events such as the Tour De Palm Springs, Patriot Ride for our Heroes, Healing Fields, Women's Running Wild 5k Marathon, Palm Springs Half Marathon, Colorguards, etc., by furthering our citizenship and coherence in proudly serving our community in an orderly and precise manner.
