Community Service
Cathedral City High School's AFJROTC unit is widely known in the valley for always doing our best in the many community services we help in. We always make sure to perform our given duties at top quality and we commit until the very end of the event. We, as a unit, work together as a team to get our job done and keep everyone happy and satisfied. On average, our unit does between 3,000 to 5,000 hours of community service each year. We perform over 100 presentations of the colors annually, and we participate in many community events each year such as Tour De Palm Springs, Healing Fields, Patriot Ride, Women Running Wild Marathon, and more. We help with Chain Gang during football season and Hurdle Crew during track season. We also do Security Detail during football games to prevent people from tampering with our locker rooms. In 2015, we helped with the first GloRun in Cathedral City and made sure it was a success.
